Halloween Costumes for School
Posted by Mollie Leibecke on Oct 18, 2011
Students may not wear costumes that need any type of teacher assistance to put on or take off, must be put on outside of the classroom, is gory, includes fake blood, includes fake weapons of any kind, resembles any type of anti-Christian character (demons/devils)), or may scare other students. Make-up and hair coloring will not be permitted.
Because our parties will take place on a Friday, students may wear their costumes to school as long as they fit the rules of our usual out of uniform dress code. If a child does bring a costume that they need to change into, the costume should go on over the child's clothing so that the child can put the costume on in the classroom, not in the restroom.
Please call Mr. Tush at 812-926-1558 with any questions.

Girls Club
Posted by Mollie Leibecke on Aug 26, 2011
Girls Club is every Friday that school is in session from 2:30-4:30 beginning September 9th. It will be held at St. Mary's Activity Center.
This is a great opportunity for your daughter! it is a faith-based club that discusses important aspects of our Catholic faith. The girls will be educated on the lives of the Saints, holy virtues, and basic catechism in a fun all girls environment! The girls will participate in crafts, games, and community service, which helps them focus on love for God and love of neighbor. The girls are divided into two groups: Juniors and Seniors. The Seniors have more responsibility and will help with the younger girls, especially at craft and game time.
Girls will be picked up at 2:30 in the school cafeteria and walked up under adult supervision. If any child attends another school the child should be dropped off at the Activity Center. Girls can come at any time after school. Please be prompt in picking your child up at 4:30 in the Activity Center.
For contact information please call the school office @926-1558.
